It’s the day of the Melbourne Cup! Aka we have better things to do, so all you punters go make a bet, and enjoy the day. No 1700 on this Tuesday! We will have a lot of clips lined up for your enjoyment though, Death Cab For Cutie, The Kooks, White Stripes, The Grates, Hockey, Kasabian and many many more!!
Wednesday 4th November Mark Steiner from NY will be in this Wednesday. He has a few gigs lined up in and around Melbourne as part if his international tour for his latest album Fallen Birds. Tune in from 5pm Channel 31, Melbourne this Wednesday night.
Thursday 5th November
Melbourne Hip Hop artist Illy will be kicking back in 1700 studio this afternoon with Damien and Kelly. He has an Obese Records Block Party gig this Friday at The Palace so make sure you get all the details this Thursday on 1700.

Wednesday
Ben and Britt will be showing clips from After The Fall, Lily Allen British India and more this Wednesday. On top of that we also have an interview Benny Sheilds did with Little Boots. You might remember Little Boots from an old 1700 Clip Of The Week.
Thursday
Darkness Visible and sitting down with Damien and Kelly this Thursday. This Victorian post-punk group will also play a live track for 1700 viewers. Be sure not to miss our show this Thursday from 5pm on Channel 31.
Friday
Rachel and Vito have an interview with Vendetta fields in the studio this Friday. The Melbourne based indie group are currently playing gigs in and around the Melbourne area so this show is a do-not-miss!

Ben and Britt have an interview to show with Dead Letter Circus this Wednesday. This Brisbane rock group have recently been announced in the Pyramid Rock Festival lineup, and with a new single out be sure to see them around playing in the Melbourne region again soon.
Thursday
We have Live at Subs in the studio this Thursday with Damien and Kelly. This Melbourne reggae rock group will also play a live track from 1700 viewers. Be sure not to miss our show this Thursday from 5pm on Channel 31.
Friday
Rachel and Vito have Where’s Jerome live in the studio this Friday. We have Andrew Kitchen in the studie this Thursday with Damien and Kelly. He’s in to talk about the Face the Music conference.
